In case of books, you usually don't need a separate shipment service. Most of the time, books can be delivered globally. Licensing restrictions are much looser compared to electronic items etc. If your intention is only to buy books, then try Amazon first to see if it delivers to Bahrain. If it doesn't, you can use Shop & Ship or similar services.

Hello, I want to ask something about Shop and Ship. If I'm not mistaken they charge BD 4.4 per 1/2 kilo and BD 3.3 for any additional 1/2 kilo.

I want to buy some pet supplies from amazon. There are multiple small items that I am planning to buy and I want to know if I will be charge for the total weight of the items or are they going to charge me per item?

Remember, if you buy from different sellers from Amazon, they will ship in different dates, shop and ship will ship the items once they arrive, so you may end up paying the minimum fees for multiple items, which will cost you more than if you pay for all items together.

I always try to buy from the same seller in Amazon and make sure all items are shipped once and together.

to calculate the cost use the rates calculator in the SnS site

you may also take a look at the Unacceptable Material to avoid losing your stuff

I received an email from Shop & Ship the other day. It is now possible to order fragrance from the US retailers via Shop & Ship. They will only allow orders from the US though - they still don't accep orders from the UK and other countries if you want to order perfume.

Yeah I got that email too. I queried it as I had only just emailed them asking if they could ship printer ink. They said strictly no liquids and then 5 mins later I get an email saying buy your perfumes!! I questioned it but no reply. They must be using a new airline or something

Are liquids not allowed to be shipped here in Bahrain? I want to buy ear cleaners, shampoos and paw soaks for my dog that are not available here in Bahrain, but I don't know if they would be allowed to be imported.
