Looking for an apartment

Dear blogs members
Thanks for giving an opportunity to ask you about Bahrain. I am looking for an apartment (single bed room) in a walking distance of salmaniya medical complex or Arabian Gulf university in salmaniya. Do you think I can expect a fully furnished good apartment @ 400 BD in the vicinity of above said area?

You may be able to find good options in Mahooz and Zinj. Whilst both these areas are close to Salmaniya, its not exactly walking distance and even if it were, its not comfortable walking in summer.

you should easily be able to find a fully furnished 1 BD flat with facilities (gym, swimming pool..). The hardest will be to choose

Fully furnished, all incl property can be found in that area for BD300 - BD350. I can put you in touch with an agent (who is free of charge) if you want me to. Just PM me. A friend of mine just rents a room in a family home for BD100 a month and he is very happy with that arrangement.
