Can someone advise 3xactly what docs are required.
Copy of rental agreement
Copy of CR of building
Utility bill for the flat

Is this correct?  Do I need anything else.
Someone said I could get a Mr Fixit to doo it for a fee.

The process is as below:
lease contract registration at bahrain.bh and keep the receipt handy to be uploaded to mun.gov.bh

Then in mun.gov.bh uploaded the required documents (i had uploaded rent agreement in English and Arabic, owners cpr copy and the lease contract registration receipt from bahrain.bh) it took about 3 weeks for it to get approved once approved you will need to pay 5BHD to download the certificate.

Once you receive the certificate you can then visit bahrain.bh and renew the cpr by uploading the required documents.

Can a dependant wife renew her CPR on her own without providing marriage certificate again?

It is weird that the CPR authority is asking for marriage certificate again now after 5 yrs to prove the relationship to main sponsor when applied for renewal on main portal. And of course they need the certificate attested and so on.

Not if they are asking for it.   The process has changed - everyone is being asked for these documents irrespective of how long you are in Bahrain.  As an example, I was asked to provide marriage certificate and birth certificate when renewing the CPR for my son and I have been in Bahrain for 10 years!!!.

Isn't it strange that all these system updates in gov system are resulting in much unexpected cost to residents so far.

I have faced 3 distinct events on distinct entities that made me pay significant amount due to amendments made by those official entities solely.

You should have an attested marriage certificate anyway, no?   you couldn't have sponsored a dependent visa without it.

This is was done 5 yrs back so I can't find the attested document which requires that I do the attestation all over again. But sure I wouldn't be able to get her residence permit without submitting this document at the 1st place. Even her passport states me as husband. I am not sure why they ask for it again. They would probably ask again for the birth certificates of the kids as well at the next stage.
