Hi guys
Good Day
I am currently in a the process of finalizing the interview rounds聽 process for a retail company in Kuwait-with KW origin- as a senior Network Engineer ,given these facts:
1)9 yrs of exp. between multinational providers聽 and Banks聽 of gulf origins
2)3 professional CISCO certificates +2 associate CISCO cert's
3)Fluent in both Arabic and English

In case I was selected and regardless of the estimated salary range聽 I asked for in the first interview ,What would be the estimated figure of the expected salary for such position given the above facts?

There is no precise Salary offered or asked yet, but I was asking the opinions of the people living in Kuwait what would be the normal range given the mentioned facts, to be able to negotiate in the final meters聽 with no" so high "or "so low" expectations...

check out the salary trends聽 sticky post,will be help ful. I belive the are paying in 700-900 range and might offer you additional allowances.and they should if you are at a senior position.

if they ask you what salary would you like to have? you can put the question back to them like replying " what are you paying others in same position,"they will have to tell something,and you can bargain to fit what you feel is appropriate.

to be honest i have no experience working or giving interviews.

wen you come here take extra precautions regarding legal documents because the situation here is little abnormal currently.

so prevention is better than cure.

Thanks for the advise bro,but what do you mean exactly by that? Do you mean the contract itself or work permit or rental documents for anything?

you misunderstood,here the expatriates are facing lot of deportation due to failure to produce documents when requested.like civil ID even if you went down your building to throw garbage.

聽 similarly,married couples are also asked sometimes to show their marriage certificate.

the ministry is cracking down on to reduce expats and traffic.
