Fishing in Kuwait

Hi there, is it a requirement to get a fishing licence before fishing in Kuwait?
Do you mainly聽 use fishing rods or handlines?
Do you聽 use fresh bait or lures?
I am about to pack my household to move and only聽 want聽 to bring what is useful there as I have many game fishing rods and reels etc...

Hey dear no you don't need special license to fish in Kuwait unless you want to drive a boat of course

there are many places for fishing in Kuwait one of my favorite is Kuwait city near the Kuwait towers聽聽聽

There is a special bridge for fishing

The people who are fishing by boat use live bait like small cramp or sand crab or small fishes

but we personally use shrimp and squid as bait (not live)

I will also be聽 bringing a small 4m inflatable rib boat so will be getting my boat registered and a Kuwait boat licence as well.
Its good to hear that fishing is permitted.
The bait you are using sounds same as in Australia.
