How to get out of this case ?

My passport was hold by public prosecution due to one criminal case which that omani lady complained me that I did a inappropriate way in front of them. So my passport was confiscated by police and now it was with public prosecution last 6 months. Till now I didn't call from any police or public prosecution. How to get out of this case

Call the police and ask for the update. It's as simple as that.

Actually I directly went to police station and they said your passport has been transferred to public prosecution. And also I went to public prosecution that my passport has been with him. Without resolving this case they can't provide my passport like they said. Now if I contact lawyers they asking more fees to me. And also I am trying to resolve this case with that lady.but till now I didn't get any positive replies. I don't know what to do. I was struck. My company also informed me that this your personal case u need to deal with it and given one advocate number.
