Yes still waiting for visa.
Got some troubles...they told that I need to provide NOC from my previous employer whereas I've never been emloyed in Oman.

Hoping this issue will be solved soon.

Got info that no of visa has been issued ..Unfortunately I am not in the list..waiting continues.. Really fed up.. 5 weeks since LC cleared... Nothing going as usual in this process..

I understand the stress聽 of waiting so long.. But you need to prepare your self for Ramadan.. If you are not getting yours before that ..
There will be less production less interest of doing job in Oman
The application of the visa done online and they can get the result same way as well
I have now any new update for today

Hi All,

URGENT request please.
Today I got my Employment Visa and I've noticed that my name is misspelled (not like passport).
PDO HR told me it is OK since the passport number is correct.

What do you think? is it OK?
I will not face any problems in the airport?

Your prompt feed-back is highly appreciated since I need to resign from my current employer.

No melzein ...you r not only one waiting for visa .. I kind of lost interest ... Usually it takes 2 weeks from visa once LC is obtained.. In our case it's been more than a month..not sure how long it's going to take as ramadan starting tomorrow ..

OKPV no worries my friend. I was also delayed because of GAMCA. Therefore the delay happened for a reason.
The work doesn't completely stop at Ramadan, it just get sloooower.
I think u may gonna get something by today or 2morrow

It is fine, but we face some hassel with water leak and some lights are not working, but the PDO maintenance team promissed to repair it.

i hope to move to RAH soon.

Good luck with maintenance! Are there new accommodations available or expected to be available in RAH? Villas or apartments? I was told to stay away from the old places as you may have to move when they start their work.

I'll be there on 29th and put my name on the list then. Would be nice to have a new villa in RAH.

Hi man, im not sure if there is any online portal that we can check. As for many of us who waited, we just relied with inside info or from emails of our agents / PDO HR.

Average waiting time "for us" was between 4-6 months.

Guys maybe just a slow down due to short office hours.

@Alivib
I think should be fine as long as ur current company provides you a letter of acceptance of your resignation. From what I read from the document PDO provided is that "current employer" acceptance letter of our resignation is required.

Melzein .. I had another issue related to my exit status from my last visit visa to Oman -- guess some other also faced the same isse .. Hence this further delay I guess .. Last response I got from Pdo is on yesterday that visa is under process ..

I got the same problem of yours but at the end it is solved for and I got my visa...just waiting for family visa...
Looks like it is common issue in Oman...so you will get yours for sure
