Hi everyone!

I am curently here in Oman in visit visa and luckily i found a job here but the sad part is that after having a medical exam it showed that i have fibrotic strands in right mid zone and upper left zone in my xray. all exams was normal except the xray. Can anyone tell me what to do? I dont want to be deported. Do I have a chance to be accepted by the company? I already signed my job offer. my medical exam result was being stamped as fit or unfit, the instruction given to me at the hospital was just to go to the employer and give the med test result. I have seen the other clients envelope and it was written there if they are fit or unfit, why is mine dont have any stamp?

Hi iamrusellereal,

I can imagine what you would be going through now. It must be difficult indeed.

The medical report is a mandatory document that all expat employees are expected to be certified as 'fit', to be able to be issued with the visa.

If your company can wield enough influence, with the approving authorities, through the company PRO then things can get sorted out in your favour.

It is better to have a chat with your employer about your concerns.
