Please be aware that any kind of employment visa is NOT SOLD, nor can it be bought for a price.

Many expatriates either do not know of this, or get fooled by unscrupulous middle-men who call themselves 'Agents', or 'Consultants', or 'Agency' who cheat gullible and desperate expatriates into believing that for a fee they can buy their way into Oman. Wrong.

Answering your second question, expatriate employees have very limited powers in terms of anything official like getting a visa, cancelling a visa, etc.

An expatriate employee cannot do anything like this on their own, or anything by themselves. For everything official, they must route it only through their employer / sponsor only. Nothing else will work. And there is no other way.

So please be aware of all these things before planning your trip. It would profit you immensely to read the numerous posts already available in the forum for you to get an idea of what all are going on regarding expatriates' and wishing-to-be-expatriates'.
