Job visa in UAE + Family visa in Oman

Hi
I am a lady working in Oman.My family also is settled in Oman.
I have an opportunity to move to Dubai , but family can join after 6-8 months only.
Can i maintain a family visa (through my husbands Employer) in Oman while i work with a job visa in UAE.
I am interested to do this as it will help me to travel hassle free to UAE to Muscat during weekends.

Hi mey0093,

Firstly, if you are still on your family visa, then how come you are employed ?

Secondly, no more is visa given on arrival for expatriates like they used to before October 01st.

Now those who wish to travel to the UAE must apply for an evisa in advance and only then can they travel. The process takes a minimum of 3 working days.

And lastly, if you are on family visa then you could take up employment in the UAE as long as your husband's employer does not raise any objections.
