Overstay Fine & Procedure.

Dear Sir,

I recently resigned from my employer and since there was 3 months salary pending which the employer didn't pay, I had given a case in manpower. [Case hearing is still going on]. I have given the power of attorney to my advocate. now I wish to leave Oman on 3.2.2017. My visa expired on 10.9.2017.聽 What are the procedures to leave the country? Is the company PRO required?
If company PRO doesn't come, can I pay the fine and leave? how much would be the fine (employment Visa)?

I have heard that without PRO being present, I can pay the fines and leave. Just want to confirm it.

Hi shijinmrx,

If you are cancelling your employment visa, your company PRO's presence at the airport to get your employment visa cancelled is absolutely mandatory.

Without the company PRO's presence, an expatriate cannot have the employment visa cancelled.

Besides, in your case, there is also the issue of overstaying which makes it an added concern.
