Does my spouse need to first get a job?

I applied for the position of Classroom teacher in several schools in Qatar. I just received a call from a school principal. Later, the principal told me that in order for me to work in Qatar , is that, my husband need to first get a job in Qatar . He then can sponsor me and my kids over to Qatar. Only then, I can start working as a teacher. How far is this true?

In Qatar a wife can easily sponsor her husband and kids.

In Saudi Arab, its not possible but in Qatar yes its possible a wife can sponsor her family.

i also think so that u will easily get job and u can join alone with ur childs and ur husband can聽 joinu now or afeter days there is no issue ,,,qatar is very good in all matters

The school can be your sponsor and then you can sponsor your family.
but I think they changed their mind of hiring your so they came up with this excuse.
