Hi,

I am a corporate lawyer from Pakistan and have arrived here in Doha last week. I am on a consulting assignment with a telecom company for around 6 months or so. I am looking to move to a studio apartment or a room in a shared apartment with some expat executives n West Bay area, preferably but not necessarily English speaking.

If anyone knows of a suitable place or guide me to be good real estate agent. I would be obliged.

Hi,
My name is Rohini Kallicharan, i am considering a job position in Qatar. I intend to re-locate with my family from Trinidad and Tobago. The weather is just about the same here in Trinidad just i believe it would be a bit much hotter at times in Qatar or even colder. I would have to get the kids into school, i've a son who is 15 and a daughter who is 11. My husband would also like to take up a job while we are there...just to keep him occupied while the rest f the family is at school and me at work. I am interested in finding out about the cost of living. We are an adventurous bunch and i intend to explore the surrounding while there, even take holiday trips tot he neighbouring India, New Zealand, Singapore etc. Would be nice if i can get some feedback on the cost of living and reasonable schooling for my kids and some suggestions for employment for my husband, he loves sales.

I just arrived last Thursday it's my 6th day here. its good! the food is great but it's hot in here. I am here with my mom she's been living here since 2009. And right now I'm looking for a job so if anyone know some vacancies out there please do let me know.. i have bachelors degree in nursing and a background in sales and marketing.
