Hi Angelina

Welcome to Qatar. even iam looking out for friends to hangout. :)
Hello everyone!

My name is Nilo Simogan from Batangas, Philippines. I live and work in Doha for more that 8 years now. Well, my journey as an overseas worker is somewhat a "roller coaster ride". I work as an Accountant (my 3rd company so far) and I'm planning to leave Doha for good 5 years from now. So help me God...:-)
Hi Angelina,
Welcome to Qatar, though I am also new to this country but I have started liking it already.

Hi Pankaj, r u interested in female friends or male friends ?
Hello Everyone

I am Waseem Living in Qatar. Been here for a while. I come from Berkshire, Slough, England. Set up Gulf Auto Hub to help people buy and sell cars easily. Currently in Qatar and expanding to the rest of the GCC, slow and steady.

Keep in touch regards to any Automotive events and perhaps we can link up and go. :)

Thanks.
Hi dear friend
I'm here in Qatar too I'm Egyptian and have future plans to move to the UK for education and maye staying and marriage id like to know more about the UK from you .
I'm off Fridays and we can meet anywhere.  Thanks 😀
Yes, new in Qatar, been here for exactly 3 weeks... finally moved into a place, settled at work and nervously awaiting my RP, in order to be able to procure my own beers, etc..  My observations so far: Most people seem to want to keep to themselves, even my own countrymen.

Have attended social events, and noticed that  almost 90% of the attendees are males, trawling for single females. Visiting bars and clubs mean that you would receive several "proposals" from oriental working ladies.

There's no much to do for more.. shall I say, "mature" people, in Doha. Being such a varied mix of people in Qatar, people seem to shy away from making any connection, simply ignoring others around them...

Not having one's own transport, also does not make it easier!

Despite that, I have enjoyed the city and would love to see more of it, once the license situation is sorted out...hopefully in less than 10 day's time!

yeah !!!!! sure why not ???
I recently Visited Qatar Motor Show 2017 , which was held @ Doha Exhibition center.
Yes. I was at the Motor show as well. Loved the classic car section. Other than that nothing much. Only one concept car from Toyota and others were all 2017 models. But I enjoyed it. :) Lusail is open for Kartin by the way.. There is a lot happening to be honest.
Bro.... I appreciate fro the information regarding go -karting....
I would love to go there ,but the issue is i dont have car with me , so it bit difficult to go there.
I would like to meet you to become friends

Hi everyone, I am Hasmath.

Hi everyone,
I am a newbie to this community. it's indeed a pleasure to be a part of it. I am a qualified CA (Chartered Accountant) from India. Interested in making new friends, those who belong to the same profession and others as well. presently I stay at Al Mansoura area in Doha.
Hello everyone!

I moved to Qatar a week ago, and find it a bit boring (I am based in AlWakarah) feels like middle of desert....

I am interested in art, art lessons (painting, drawing) art communitiy - like minded ppl's group I would keen to join.
Also, I love to hang out on the beach!
Can anyone recommend me an expat beach? Where we can enjoy in our "normal" way :))
Thanks a lot and have a wonderful day!
Hi and welcome! Yes, Doha is a bit boring if you're in the "suburbs" so really the only thing is to hang out at the malls, etc. There are seemingly not many beaches around that offer anything we are used to.
If you're into music, etc a good place to start is the Hyatt Hotel and Bungalows on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday. There is a Flip Flop Beach Club, where you can access the beach free of charge, order drinks from the beachfront bar and listen to some good tunes! Otherwise let me know and you can be my guest at my club pool...!
