unused temporary entry work visa

johnex

I have an unused temporary entry work visa which will expire next month. This entry visa has not been stamped in my passport and I have not entered Qatar.  Can a new company/sponsor apply a new temporary entry work visa for me once the previously issued entry visa expires?
I appreciate your advise on this.

Officially If the New/Temporary Visa Expired without Entry to Qatar it wont cause any problem . Your visa will be voided or cancelled automatically if there was no port of expat entry.

I was thinking if there is still a need for the original sponsor to cancel the temporary entry work visa after its expiration.

So I guess it is safe to say that a new employer/sponsor can apply for me a new temporary entry work visa.

Hello, I’m going through the same.
May you tell me how you managed this situation.
When your visa is expired, can you get a new work visa from a new employer?
Or the visa cancellation from the old employer is a must?
