Hi, I'm a counselling student in the UK interested in moving to Saudi.

Can anyone tell me what requirements I must meet/qualifications or licensing I must need to practice counselling therapy in Saudi?

Can anyone explain the nature of the field/job market for psychotherapists if much different to in other countries?

I struggle to find this information when searching on the web.

@JasTea have you tried finding聽 any women's聽 group on face book?聽 if you join Any Expats Group (especially Ladies Groups)聽 you will find a lot of help , I've just started studying聽 Art Therapy聽 and I'll be looking into it as well聽聽

@Nadine5599 Can you specifically聽 recommend any expat womens groups on facebook. i am a qualified counsellor who鈥檚 just relocated to Khobar from the UK.. Looking to connect and also find out any info re Counselling work here possibly .

Theres a Sauddi license you can get to become i thinks its like a psychologist.聽 They use the american type system here,聽 so counselling in american terms is like a glorified Mentor.聽 A counsellor or psychotherapists appears to be amalagamated with psychologists.聽 I dunno.聽 Still trying to figure this out.聽 I do know however,聽 that there are clinics in saudi were professionals are offering art therapy
