Hello everyone,

I am a non-Saudi doctor currently working in a Ministry of Health hospital in Saudi Arabia.

I have received and accepted a job offer from a private hospital. However, before I submit my resignation, I have one major concern.

My new employer鈥檚 offer is conditional upon a successful sponsorship (Iqama) transfer. My Qiwa account does not show any employment contract or notice period, so I am unable to determine whether my Iqama is transferable.

My questions are:

1. Has anyone successfully transferred from an MOH hospital to a private hospital?

2. If my current employer refuses the transfer request, what happens?

3. Can the transfer still proceed under Qiwa, or will it be completely blocked?

4. Is there any way to check transfer eligibility before resigning from my current job?

I don鈥檛 want to resign first and then discover that my sponsorship cannot be transferred.

I would really appreciate advice from anyone who has had a similar experience or who works in HR or PRO in Saudi Arabia.
