In case of an impending transfer from an Excellent status company to another Excellent status company,
1. Is there a requirement of 2 years to be completed?
2. I have heard that if transfer is allowed by current 'excellent' status company, the current company's visa quota is reduced by 1 visa. Is this accurate?
3. Can an excellent status company get any number of visas they require? or is there a capping based no of employees etc?
Appreciate if you can reply please.

1. Is there a requirement of 2 years to be completed?
No. One of the benefits for excellent companies is that their transfers need not be in 2 yrs necessarily. But then again there were hold ups as I have heard, but not verifiable.
2. I have heard that if transfer is allowed by current 'excellent' status company, the current company's visa quota is reduced by 1 visa. Is this accurate?
No. The visa issue and sponsorship transfer are different issues.
3. Can an excellent status company get any number of visas they require? or is there a capping based no of employees etc?
No company can get "any" number of visas. Its true that excellent status companies can get visas but then again this is based on no of employees that they already have, company growth , type of business, type of visas requested, history of company's financial data etc.
I have joined just 6 months back.
Now I have been offered a better job in another company in Saudi Arabia. I though of discussing this with my sponsor.
Question: If my sponsor is ready to transfer my sponsorship is this legally possible as I have just joined 6 months back???
If answer to the above question is "NO" do I have any other way as the new company wants an employee with transferable Iqama only.
Thanks for all your efforts in this forum.
Thanks for your help.
I have gotten agreement from my current company ('excellent' status) to transfer to a new company (also 'excellent' status).
The process (as explained to me) is:
1. New company gives demand letter to current company.
2. Current company makes 03 letters (jawazat, labour deptt and 1 other) and send to new company.
3. New company submits these letters in relevant department.
4. New company raises request in online system for transfer.
5. Current company approves.
6. New company gets iqama made.
I have the following questions and appreciate your help:
a. Is the above process correct? Anything important missing here?
b. If yes, how long does this process take generally?
c. My current company PRO has told me that online system is not working for our company because of some errors and it is already taken up with the labour deptt to fix. This may take a while. He said that the transfer can still happen without online system. Is this correct?
Appreciate your response.

Yes its correct.

If all documents in order 2 weeks max, but dont count on it from countless expatriates experience.

Yes , he will have to go with all documents to jawazat and labor office and do it by himself.
By "he", do you mean current company PRO or new company PRO will have to go himself?
Or both for their respective parts?

Either the PRO himself or authorized company representative.

I am dependent with my husband. I got a job offer from a private hospital and decided to grab the opportunity to work. I submitted the "No Objection" letter from the company of my husband with the stamp from the Chamber of Commerce to the hospital. I handover them my original passport and my iqama and they just gave me the photocopies with the stamp of the private hospital of course. Now,聽 I just want to ask:
How long will it takes to transfer iqama? I've checked it online but it says there that as per Ministry of Labor; "Demand Situation under study". How long will takes to process?
What are the possible reason if the application will be rejected?
Can I follow-up it personally in the Ministry of Labor?
Shukran Jazakallahu Khairan聽

聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 聽 Well iqama transfer can take a week upto couple of months it differs from Co. to Co.Depends how efficient is your company's messenger to Ministry of labor.I cant see any reason of rejection in your case聽 but you cannot follow it personally in the ministry of labor.

you need to follow up with your company though since you wont be able to do that with MOL.

House driver visa profession may turn out to be difficult to change.

No time limit, but ideally better to be done before the expiry.
I would like to know the rule regarding change of sponsorship in KSA.
My current scenario:
1. Arrived in the Kingdom in 2008 through a azaad visa.
2. Transferred my sponsorship to another company where i have been working from August 2008 to present.
Considering:
1. I have an another offer with a big salary.
Question??
Am i a legally eligible to demand a release from my sponsor since i have not arrived on my current sponsor visa?? What is the ruling on changing the sponsor when the original visa doesnt belong to the same sponsor.
Would be glad to know....

Ideally you should get release, is there an official ruling for this , no. Has the sponsor, the right to decline release, yes. Your query is in the minds of so many people but with no clear answer, due to the above conflicting practices in KSA. You can approach the labor office but chances are slim and it will be a long legal battle. You could try though by demanding from the sponsor and telling them that they did not sponsor your visa. Good luck.

Having come on someone's visa and getting transferred to your employer doesn't entitle you for any legal advantage of getting a transfer of sponsorship. There is nothing like that in the Saudi Labor law. To protect their business, the law authorizes them to issue the final exit visa irrelevant of any factors.
Morally, they must be nice enough to consider employees' requests. But again, how can you push someone to be nice enough?
Your best bet would be to resolve the matters in a friendly way so that both parties would be happy with the solution.
Please any advice would be very helpful.
Thanks

I worked with them on the spouse visa till January 2014, and then they changed my sponsorship under the company due to nitaqat problems. Currently I am pregnant and having some issues related to it due to which I had to take bed rest for one month, but my company is not accepting this and wants me to resign which is ok with me. But I would like to know, if I resign from the company, would I be able to transfer my sponsorship back to my husband, or I will have to go for Final exit and then come back on new family visa.
Please any advice would be very helpful.

You will be able to transfer the sponsorship back to your husband.

What you have done or speaking to you is that your husband has been moved to be under your sponsorship as a "Mahram" along with the kids and your query is if he can transfer his sponsorship to a company if he finds a job, the answer is yes he can change his sponsorship . As for profession change, if he is an engineer he should first register with Saudi Council of Engineers and then he can change his profession.
I did the following;
1. I ask my employer if they will release me and work with other company.
2. My employer agreed and ask me a Demand Letter from the company where will I work.
3. The new company will also ask you a Release Letter.
4. Both the Demand and Release Letter should have a Seal from a government agency. I already forgot the name of the government agency, In Riyadh it is in King Abdullah Rd. besides the aircraft museum.
5. When your employer received the Demand Letter, they will give your Passport and you're free!!!!
However, my employer released me on a condition: I have to pay their expenses of hiring from Philippines.
This is also what I did to work with my 2nd company ( the company has agency in Philippines )
1. I ask for Salary Offer or Package and a referral letter to the agency.
2. My contract with my employer was about to finished in a month, so I only applied for Final Exit.
3. When I arrived in Philippines, I report to the agency. Immediately they schedule me for medical exam.
4. After I passed the medical exam. they apply visa for me and was released after 7 days.
5. I only pay Pag Ibig and Philhealth to the agency.
6. In least than a month I'm back in Riyadh,
