Well I think it is safe as far Saudi Border is Concerned. But yes the travelling will be long and may take more than 24 hours to reach at your destination.

I was also interested in finding out about that! Why such attitude? Perhaps someone could add something valuable here. I get the comment about the bus schedule though, still would be nice to read some reviews/experiences ppl had taking the bus.
