I'm planning to go UAE by my own car with my family. I'm in approved list of profession.
1- Is it possible to get visa approval before going?
So we can save time on Sila border.
any means/way online? etc.
2- can we use our Al-Rajhi ATM Card for fee there(on-arrival visa fee)
3- What is car insurance fee?

Not sure , but yeah , Emirati people are educated and speak English unlike Saudis聽

Even if someone who picks the call isn't good in English , he will transfer your call to someone who is capable

They also have a online chat service

Dear all,
I am an Indian working as a doctor in a govt. university聽 at Al Kharj, Saudi Arabia. I need to go to India during Hajj vacations.
Air tickets are pretty expensive these days so I have booked a return flight from Dubai to Jaipur- Air India express which turned out to be quiet reasonable.
Now to catch this flight I want to go to Dubai via Bus service in Al Kharj, Riyadh(SAPTCO).
I need to know that what kind of VISA do I need for entry and exit from Dubai.
Will it be available on arrival to Dubai at boarder.
What will be the charges.
And again on return from India whether same process has to be followed.
Whether I need any travel insurance for this trip.
Please share your experience.

There was a cheaper option when you fly out of Dammam , you can get free coach service to Bahrain also , total fare comes around 1720 SAR !

Now you have booked Dubai , you have to pay for visa charges , On Arrival when you go from Saudi to Dubai something around 150 , and then even when you return ! 150

That's 300 for two ways ( Dubai Visa )

Same thing if you flew from Dammam , or took the Bus from Dammam to go to Bahrain and then fly from there , visa is free for high professions !

Also note , The Bus service from Riyadh to Dubai is pretty long , and "God Forbid" if bus gets delayed ?

If you can cancel your Dubai - Jaipur booking , I'd say make a booking from Dammam or Bahrain , it's cheaper , safer

You should've chosen flying from Bahrain !

Cheap , reliable !

You know , sometimes , you can't cross borders and may have to wait at Border for visa issues !

if the profession your iqama is written as doc then u willl be having no delays at all in getting visa on arrival at border.. just show ur iqama and there they will stamp it straight away with a thanks too

You don't need to a multiple paper. Need your original iqama, passport and pay fee. Visa upon arrival is upon their discretion and not always guaranteed.

All non-Saudis whom want to go to Dubai or any other GCC countries, you MUST have re-entry visa also you have to ask Emirates Embassy is your profession allowed to go, also nationality needed. some nationalities not allowed.

Re-entry paper is only a requirement for Saudi.

i am confused.. some says no need for exit and re entry visa some says i need it.. im an expat filipino nurse currently working in saudi arabia, planning to visit dubai nxthmonth.. i have my valid iqama and passport with me.. i want to know if i still need an exit and re entry visa from KSA? or only Dubai visit visa (upon arrival).. some says i need some says no need.. pls let me know..

Just call UAE Empassy to be Sure.
I went many times to Dubai, Saudi will not allow me to exit without Reentry visa.

Depends on professions. Some professions are counted as executives. Check with the embassy.
I know some airlines will not even allow you to fly without a prior visa.

I reiterate exit/re-entry is only required to leave or enter Saudi ! It is a pre-requisite to leave the country.

It is simple -

1.) Check if your iqama does not expire in the next 3 to 4聽 months.

2.) Check if your profession is allowed to get a visa on arrival (doctors are eligible, please check for the nurse category you can check it with the airline that you intend to travel or call emirates.)

3.) if you satisfy the above mentioned points. Book your tickets and enjoy the vacation!

4.) You need to carry your original iqama, your passport, return ticket and it is always better to carry a print out of your exit re entry validity from -

Hello my name is Oleg. I am working in Saudi Arabia veterinary doctor at the dolphinarium, have a residence permit (iqama expires in March. trip in late December ). Russian nationality. I can travel to the United Arab Emirates in his car with his family聽 Russian (have iqama ), for 10 days and can get a visa at the border with Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates? ordering a hotel room on the internet.

Asak friends!! I am a doctor working for Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia having Indian passport. My Iqama is one month old. My family (wife and 6 months old son) went back to India on exit re-entry visa. Now they are planning to visit her sister in Sharjah for 10 days and from there to enter Saudi Arabia. Is it possible? Will they get visa on arrival in sharjah if they go from india? What r the documents required? Will there b any prob if my wife's sister send visa for her? Is it possible for them to enter Saudi from UAE?

You need atleast 6 months validity on your passport and 3 months validity on your Saudi iqama, you need to carry your original iqama also for more details read this article

For the profession you will get visa on arrival at the border, but the iqama validity might be a problem if they notice. Normally they wont look at the iqama but the passport which should have a min of 3 months or more.
