Work in Saudi

allys334

Hi guys

Im new to this forum and would like some help or guidance.

I am British National male looking to work in saudi. I just want to know whether I have a good chance of being employed.
I have a BA Hons degree in business management. Also hold a TEFL qualification which is 120 Hours. I have been teaching esol to students in the UK for over three years.

My wife who has also been teaching in the UK is looking to come with me and also teach.

Any feedback, opinions or information would be much appreciated.

Thanks guys and hello to everyone.

Go to DAVESESLCAFE.com, to the international jobs section, and see how your qualifications rate against recruiter requirements.

I know what the requirements of recruiters are but my qualifications seem to differ. I was hoping to see if there is anyone one here with the same kind of qualifications that I have who seem to have found work in Saudi.

You are a native speaker; you have a university diploma; and, you have a TESOL certificate.  How is it you think your qualifications differ?  These things are what almost all of the recruiters require (a few do specify the BA to be in English or Linguistics, etc., if you don't have an MA).

As for your wife, you say nothing of her credentials but if they are the same as yours, research the reputations of the various recruiters and apply to the best one (if there is such a thing lol).

Assuming you have at least a couple years teaching experience, don't have an arrest record, have a clean bill of health, etc. etc., getting a job here shouldn't be a problem because there is a continual turn-over and they are looking to hire people all the time.

Good luck.
