Can a company hire someone for a trial ?

cause transferring kafala is a big issue and would require 2 years before the new employee can change his company.

I think it is a standard practice or policy of any (organized) company to put up probations (1~3 months) for newly joined employees.聽 Contracts otherwise, should stipulate these conditions (as in most cases). In case the employer finds the employee's performance unsatisfactory, they can easily send them off - without any liabilities or whatsoever.

You know, we get a lot of these liars, unfortunately, we have to choke on it. :(

the problem is no one is willing to go for probation without transferring sponsership
With the new roles, NO at all, if passports coming suddenly for checkup and found your Iqama not on the place you work in, they understand one thing, kick you out to your country, they don't understand trial period or anything else, because the illegal guys they have 1000 execuse to till but nothing could pass on them.

Don't risk your life to be banned for 10 years from entering Saudi again.

Yes a company can hire someone for trial but in recent days it聮s risky, however if a company can show some docs that transfer case is under process , it might help in case of checking and moreover Govt has given more time up to march to fix the iqama problems so you have time till march and usually probation period is also for 2-3 months.
Thank you all, my company are proceeding to contact MOL, they asked me to do that but the MOL wouldn't help unless i was a employer :|

Of course MOL will not help you or any other individual approaching them for your sort of reason.. They will need an official rep. from the company along with the CR details and other documentation..

Hopefully your company should do this.. But if they say you to visit MOL, then i smell something Fishy ..

I suggest you be on your toes and keep checking with your Co. for updates.. They might also be taking you for a run during the probationary period and will tell you things did not work at MOL at the end of the period.

All the best !!

The document could be shown is Muqeem report, this report shows your status that you already moved your Iqama in MOL and MOI and waiting your new Iqama to be printed, which means you already transferred your Iqama and no back.
