Is the two adjacent passport page requirement firm?

WaterMelanin

My U.S. Passport has three empty pages two of which are front/back. I know that the Saudi gov requires two adjacent pages however I do not have two full clean pages that are adjacent. I have one page that is clean and the adjacent page has one stamp on it. The other two fully clean pages are elsewhere in the passport.

I cannot believe that some border agents skipped all of the empty and went all the way to the back of my passport just to place one stamp.

This is annoying because I have three empty pages and yet I have to pay and wait to receive another passport.

Has anyone gotten there work visa without two adjacent pages. I already know the answer to this question but I am just frustrated and holding on to some hope.

This what it looks like.

Usually no, they want two adjacent pages. However, it is up to their mood at times; being American and just having two stamps down in the corner can help :)

I had an American colleague who managed to get it whereas another was refused. Like I said, arbitrary at times.
