Resignation

Majho

Hi good day everyone,

Can somebody help me and please give me advise because I'm planning to resign and transfer to other Company. But the problem is, our HR didn't give release to their employee and we must pay them around 6500SR for the unfinished contract. Does it indicated in the Saudi Labour Law? Hoping for your reply and Thank you.

If you came on the visa of your current company, then your company has the right to make final exit for you. But if they are taking 6500 to give release that is best option for you. Other wise ask your new company from where you got an offer  to arrange new visa for you in case your old company does not give you release and sends you back on final exit.
You can only approach labour office if your  old company is not giving you salary, or mistreating with you or on red category, only then you can easily get realease by involving labour court. But if you are just switching your job for better salary and better future, then remember this is not your home country. You cannot switch your job easily if you dont have good relations with owner of the company and HR Manager.

hello,
pls share clear picture,  the amount they are asking you to pay is because you are resigning before the expiry of the contract, correct? Assuming this is correct, are they going to release you to other company after this payment? If no, then the best option is to come back on new visa. you can share full details to explain you better.
