Qiwa pending for notice period

Hai

Im from alkhobar, i got a new employment offer from a company in jeddah, they send me a request through qiwa portal, i accepted the same. But now the status showing in qiwa portal is pending for notice period completion. But showing transfer date on (23/8/21)My iqama is going to expire on 29th july i have informed the same to my new sponsor.already i regulation my current job also my new employee ask me to travel jeddah to join his company聽 my doubt is may i go this situation to join new company and my old company will give end if my service money ? )Pls help.me

One month notice period in written should be followed.

You don't believe in your company that you work, it's against labor law not to pay end of service benefits.

However you need to provide them new iqama copy for records after changing sponsorship to transfer it in your bank account.

Hello brother,

My case is almost similar to you. Yesterday I accepted the request from New employer on Qiwa. Now it is showing status as Pending for completion of notice period. It is showing an exact date of transfer as in your case (i.e. 23-08-2021 - and remaining days - 90 days).
Do you have any idea what this 90 days means? In my case it can not be a notice period, because in my contract with old company I have to give one month notice period only.
Also plz guide that this request will go to my old employer for approval or not?

Please reply if anybody have any idea.

Brother Aamir,

I got the same message displayed on my Qiwa portal despite having one month as my notice period.

Status = PENDING FOR NOTICE PERIOD COMPLETION
Transfer Date = 23/08/2021

I have been told that they're updating the system on daily basis from an operational capability standpoint. So hopefully this gets rectified. Please keep me posted about your situation.

Apparently, your current employer can amend the notice period. They can update it from Qiwa or send a rep to the labor office - the former way is preferred.

Guys, stay put.
Qiwa system is not mature yet. To avoid clash with High Green catagory companies, System is generating 90 days Notice period.

If you laid out the notice period properly and you nothing to company. Old employer cannot cancel without eligible grounds.

Take extra precautions. However, If you聽 trust on your existing company , specially if are you in touch with decision makers, it will be well and good.
