Moving to dammam

I just received a confirmation call from company Gulf Consolidated Contractors Co. based in Al-Khobar, Dammam for position of estimation engineer. they are offering me SAR 5500 per month plus Accommodation, Food, Transportation, Insurance(Medical), 30 days paid leave with Air fare.
Is my offered salary adequate?
how the life of dammam is?
what i could ask from employer before accepting this offer.
Please reply to this query urgently as i have to confirm them at earliet may be in days or two.

how many years of experience do you have? what is the length of the contract GCC is offering?

I have not yet asked but they said that you will on permanent position. I have no idea what this contractual term.

Can you please give me some idea about life style in saudi expanses and minimum expected salaray. I am having almost six year of exp in construction/Maintinance in oil & Gas.

Xpenses depends on your life style, for someone 5500 is very good and for otherone 5500 is nothing, so it depends on your life style.
Just check with yourself that is it a good amount for you after comparing it to your current situation. and since they are offering you, housing, food etc so most of your salary will be saved. life here is not so expensive generally. Now you need to decide it.

Since housing, food, transport, and medical care are covered, you can easily save 4,000 to 4,500 per month.聽 I am assuming you are single.

It never hurts to ask for more, so ask for another 1,000, and maybe they will give you 500.

I have declined this offer.
Accepted another offer form Dubai Based company and planning to move in end of this month.
