hi , salam,
- Can anyone tell me if a muslim family can live in a compound in Jeddah ? or compounds are reserved for non-muslim expats ?
- Does a Muslim have to pray and fast in Ramadan when living in Jeddah ? I mean obligated by law , or it's a personal question. When it's prayer time, as Muslim, do I have to go to the mosq ?

By ur question, it seems ur a muslim but u dont wanna fast or pray. How can u claim then that ur a muslim?
Anyways, if u hide n do not fast or pray, no one's gunna bother u here.

thank u kheira. It's very clear concerning Ramadan and prayers and the respect of religion when in public. As for compounds, can聽 muslim expats rent a house in a coumpound ? and enjoy聽 a freer life inside ..
