Hi all.

I got here 6 weeks ago and work north of Jeddah at the university... but live in a place called Durat al arus

I am renting a boat for an 8 hr fishing trip, and would be able to get a couple of others into the pace to join me... food on wednesday pm then set sail at 2am !

anyone interested?

yeah.. apparently it better and of course a lot cooler...
these guys have hand lines, but you can bring rods.

i also have a contact now for getting out deeper and trolling... but its expensive and better in the autumn

hey as i said the boat for tomorrow morning is full now but we will have another in 3 weeks, or possibly after Ramadan

I'm interested, please keep the updating the posts, it is a little tough in Ramadan now, but definitely after that!聽 In the meantime, where does one go to find some fishing supplies? (I still have to explore the area)

if you head down to the port and the shops there you will find things... i will start organising some trips after ramadan

That sounds great.聽 I'll definitely check it out some time between now and the end of Ramadan.聽 I'll be looking forward to trips and let me know if you need some help with organizing (not sure how much help I could be as I'm still new here)
