Anyone have info on off road riding motocross/quads around Khobar/surrounding areas.
I'm relocating next month and keen to ride once my gear arrives.
Any clubs/groups in the area?

Anyone ride Half Moon area?.I've seen a few vids on youtube ,looks like a busy spot.
Does anyone have any experience of importing their own small trailer (6x4) and registering it for use in KSA?

Most people who do motocross here in Al Khobar are Saudis which I often see along corniche road at night... There could be a group in Aramco who are into off road riding...

I do rent quads near Half Moon area, they will charge you between 30 to 40 SAR for half an hour (depending on your arabic and bargaining skills). You can find big dunes and some dirtjumps there. Since I have already a 4x4 car I've never thought about getting a bike but perhaps someone else here may know about local regulations...

Hi everyone, I have to upgrade this info: nowadays you'll find mostly 4x4 cars running in the dunes in Half Moon, I saw them last weekend.

Mubarraz near hofuf has motocross bikes.Pretty rough sand dunes there.charge about 50 riyals for one hour, also depends on arabic negotiation skills.

half moon near dammam also used to have, not sure now.
