Activities for women in Khobar

Hi all,

I'm a British muslim who just moved to Khobar and I was wondering what there is
for women to do in Saudi Arabia as a past time? Are there all female gyms?
Swimming pools? Would I find women only halaqas or study circles in both English
and Arabic in the Khobar area?

I'm also looking to find a nice islamic community of expat sisters here who are
practising and like to have fun too to socialise with.

Thank you to anybody who can shed any light on this.

hey there is a large community in khobar who share ur interests, i met a good group that came to visit in Al Hasa. u r sure to meet up with some good ppl.

This is a good question. I am considering going to Jubail / Alkhobar / Dhahran /Dammam for work (with my family). I am wondering if at least compounds might have exercise equipment.聽 How do women run there?聽 聽It seems against pc norms to run outdoors.
