This is a critical matter mater when you are living far from your family and your home. Hopefully none of you will not need this information but just in case I would like to share with you one of my last experiences.

I have been 24 hours in Astoon Hospital at Al-Khobar. I have passed X-ray tests, body scans, and blood analysis. The attentions from the staff were really nice, effective and quick, as well as during the 24 hours that I have been there under observation. I do not know the current hospital聮s prices because in my country we have the public medical assistance so the costs are included in our taxes. Anyway I have paid in total around 5.000SAR and my feelings are quite nice, even if this figure looks like a little bit expensive the sensations that I have after this process are really positive because I feel myself save in this country with this efficient medical cares.

So I would like to share my experience with all of you and, of course, I would like to read yours around the world. Do not hesitate to visit my blog where we can share information about worldwide trips.

as long as you have medical insurance you are on the safe side my friend!

Hi Abdul, Usually which hospital are you using? Please, do not hesitate to visit we are writing several comments in English and Spanish, there could practice Spanish as you like.

Hola Manuel,,

since i am saudi i have the privilege of using the free-of-charge public hospitals. However, i only use them for minor conditions such as flue, fever, etc. On the other hand, i always go to private hospitals for much complicated conditions cuz the waiting time is way much less compared to public hospitals!!

personally i prefer SAAD hospital. Also ALMANA GENERAL HOSPITAL is quite good.
Both of these hospitals are located in Khobar.

Just like i said before, you don't have to worry if you have a health insurance:D
