Does anyone know where or if it is possible to buy malted barley and/or hops in the Khobar area?

Not sure, but did you try one of the big super markets. perhaps they do have them there?

Malted barley I would guess from a health food shop, but hops???? bit obvious isnt it, assume you would need to bring them back from overseas with you. It makes me laugh as it is with the amount of sugar sold, a giveaway if ever there was one.............

Perhaps you've thought of this or heard of it, but these ingredients are available already in standard "NA" brews -- though obviously not in their raw state.

you can make a tasty beer from bread. I dont think I need to point out how easily purchased it is.

yeah, I just recently heard of this...it's an option, a bit pricy though.

If you're coming back in from somewhere like the UK, the ingredients in a dry wine kit are similar enough to muesli to go in a muesli box.

I was able to get hops seeds from the local plant store but I'm no master brewer!! I've tried beer bread, it was nice but bread beer just sounds plain nasty!!
