Hi everyone! I'm new to this forum.
My husband and I are thinking about to work in Riyadh soon, but we don't know much about the western style compounds there. We will be given a very short time to pick somewhere to live after we arrive, we have to start the research early~

We are looking for a 2 to 4 bedroom apartment/villa close to King Faisal Specialist Hospital area (not sure which district that's suppose to be, the Arabic names are soooo hard to remember...) with relatively new facilities (the less dustmite-collecting decoration the better:cool:) and excellent internet access, clean, quiet, has garage/undercover parking. It will be the best if the compound has fitness center, swimming pool, small restaurants and supermarkets to meet daily life needs (so I don't need to wrap around myself with the black dress every day:P).
Any suggestions?

Oh, we also saw an ad here saying a new western style compound will open soon:

I couldn't find the name, more pics or the exact address of the compound. Does anyone know more about it?

We heard that once we chose where to stay, we would not be able to change to somewhere else to live unless we change the job, since the address regiestered for the Saudi ID(Iqama?) was 'frozen' until a job change. Is that true?
