That was exactly MY point, Alstroemeria, way back at the beginning of this thread.  I mean, if people on their own break off into groups of their countrymen, that's fine and understandable.  But to promote a group here on EB that excludes some nationalities is just plain wrong.

BTW, you'll notice that nothing has been heard from that person for months.  You'll see that often on forums--somebody with big plans and a lot of talk, stirring up things and then .. POOF.  Nothing.  Nada. Gone.

And one last thing:  if you look to the stickie at the top of the forum, you'll see that there IS and HAS been for a long time an 'Expat Club' where people are encouraged to meet up

This is the farthest I've ever been from home. Have been to Maldives and Nepal before.
