I'll do it on behalf of Annie30:

1. Its god's own country - At least for the Muslims.
2. Good salary for the expats working here.
3. Cheap fuel + cheap cost of living.
4. Makes you realize the value of freedom you enjoyed back in your country (if you're an expat).
