URGENT: please recommend a good clean modern hospital to give birth at

Hi there,
I've recently moved to Saudi, Riyadh and I'm seven and half months pregnant. I'm really confused as to which hospital to book my pregnancy in. Also the lack of spoken English by hospital staff members makes it very frustrating when doing research.

Which hospital would you recommend in Riyadh ? I would really like to have a natural birth as I have done so with my one year old in the UK.

Many thanks!

i would recommend :)
I'd suggest King Faisal Specialist Hospital or King Fahad Medical City, both of them have lots of English speaking staff members.

5 replies, 5 opinion :D

Saudi German and Dallah are considered two of the best hospitals in Riyadh.

King Faisal Specialist Hospital (KFSH) and King Fahad Medical City (KFMC) are two government hospitals (and considered 'outstanding') but I'm sure the admission won't be open for general public.

But the first question: Do you have insurance coverage for maternity. If yes, go for any of the above mentioned 4.
Many thanks for your replies.

I do have BUPA maternity cover but unfornately it does not cover King Faisal or King Fahad hospital.

I have heard Saudi German and Specialised Medical hospitals are suppose to be good and they are included in my maternity cover. :/
SGH very good... i go there every weekend
Saudi German and Specialised Medical hospitals both are very good hospitals.
Thank you once again for everyones input. After much research I have decided to go with Specialized Medical hospital as its suppose to a great hospital with many English speaking staff :) I pray it all goes well by the will of God :top:
