my new sponsor who hired me locally does he has the right to Exit me??

ehmon01

Last January 2014, I was hired locally by one private company here in Riyadh. I was released by my old sponsor. My current company did not issue a contract after i finished my probation period which is 3 months. I am really upset because of it, and day by day I am seeing the worse and non systematic way how the company works. I am upset because I gave them my release.

Now I only have my job offer letter as my proof because I don't have a contract. Its written there yearly contract, renewable, notice period one month. My question now is, can I use this Job Offer letter as proof later on if I want to leave the company? Is it true that this Company don't have the right to send me to final exit since they are not the company who hired me from Philippines? And if I want to leave the company now since the Company did not gave me Contract, can i do resign?

Please someone help me because I am confused and afraid on what I need to do later.

best to contact yr own embassy staff, they will be able to give you the best advice legally.

you should contact your embassy for this and get more info or help. As i can see your old sponsor already gave you release and you are transfered to the new company. SO as per the rules this company can give you EXIT no matter what, but they cannot terminate you simply. You got the offer letter but contract is always beneficial for both parties. Also more professional advices needed, am also quite confused about your situation. Good Luck.

ehmon, how long you've been in KSA? if you've been in KSA for more than a year, you should have known the rules already. I empathize with you, i experienced almost the same situation.

Ok first. Let me tell you, some companies, through the interpretation of some stupid managers/employees, don't follow the contract, they will follow what's written in the job offer. don't fight with this with them. ok?

next, secondly, you mentioned that you got a release paper from your old employer. Can i ask you a question, did you have a change of Iqama sponsorship after the release? If your Iqama shows the name of your new employer, then they have the right to kick you out of the company/country. Another, third, after you got the release papers from your previous (old) employer/sponsor, you gave it to your new employer but they did not change your sponsorship they have the right to say you are not their employee and you are in a bad situation. why, because you're illegal then.

if you are in the third situation, go home immediately. use your money to get a ticket, get a final exit from your old/previous employer. God bless.
