Hi
My husband and I are considering taking positions in Riyadh at SBAHC. We have a 9 year old son and are from Cape Town. Have a few questions with regards schooling over there and where other SA kids are schooled.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Heather

Hi Heather, welcome on Expat-blog! :)

I have moved the discussion on the Riyadh forum. I suggest you to have a look at other threads on the forum.

I wish you good luck.

The best English education in Riyadh are offered by the American School and the British School. The rest are all mediocre.

Hi Heather (btw, your profile shows you as a male when you are clearly female?).
You would benefit greatly by phoning the two schools mentioned by musicman as a discussion with them will provide you with all the information you need.  Also, be aware that the British School is getting to peak capacity at the moment, so you will need to check with them the chances of success to place your son.  For South African's, most go to the British School from what my friends have confirmed to me, it's the closest match for them.

For information on Riyadh for you, you will see a wealth of previous posts and threads which will inform you, but if you need some specifics, just send a private message and some of us are able to respond.

My husband is from South Africa, so we may be able to make some real comparisons for you?
