Music Lovers please help!!

Hi,
really happy to see fellow musicians trying out new experiments in their life, facing the same situation here of boredom,

i'm planning to revive my bass skills, looking to buy a good practice amp 15W, here in Riyadh, any suggestion guys...

btw, i'm a self taught bassist, learnt and performed in college,turned semi-pro by the end of college, i can call myself as amateur bassist. I've a Ibanez GSR-205 5 string bass.

i guess only AlDawliah is the place where we can get music equipment, wud really appreciate if someone can guide me to which is the best store, whr i can get a amp.

I have a question to guitarist on the forum if you like to answer

I'm looking for a guitarist to team up and make music videos of Arabic songs to upload on YouTube. I have a friend who's a guitarist but said he can't play Arabic songs as he didn't found any chords for the songs I want to sing.
So, my question is 'is it impossible to play guitar on Arabic songs?'

Hello,

Yes it is possible to play arabic songs on guitar, who said it is not?
Any kind of music have their on respective notes, chords and sheets. and if there is no guitar chords you can find for Arabic songs, you can then learn to play it on guitar by your (ears) listen to it and find the corresponding chords for it. once you get one chords at a time it will be easy. and you will find its whole song chords latter on as we have a family chords which we are calling for guitar players like myself.聽

Thanks Raffy.. your suggestion sounds so simple and to the point. Hope to find someone soon and be famous on YouTube hopefully

as they are not much indians or non-arabs doing arabic song covers on YouTube.

Hello Tim,

Yeah sure they have keyboards. i think they have all sorts of musical instruments.
