What a sad day it was
I want India to win - Sashin is the man! Mumbia Indians master of IPL  but how do you celebrate with a 7Up

with difficulty!
I suspect that Sri Lanka will sneak past... :/

Both teams r evenly staged and have their strengths and weaknesses; One thing is sure SL wont be too generous like PAK dropping 7 catches, missing a stumping and MALINGA wont be like GUL, who was dashed all round the park; so INDIA will have to help itself. :)

Its a perfect Script for SACHIN, possibly playing his last WC match in his own turf and acheive one thing that always not in his PROFILE; a WC win.:top:
Tough for India though, but blues can make it if they focus more on fighting till end rather than exhibiting focus and dependency on Sachin. He will be prime target of Srilankan bowling attack, so better prepare a surprise for them by showing up through Raina, Virat, Gambhir etc
The best thing is that people appreciate that the Pak team was much much better than the Indian Team but they gifted the match to them. Otherwise, they didnt stand a chance
slyshooter: literally this notion doesnÂ’t matters now. What actually matters is result, itÂ’s absolutely useless to rip off old coffins......Team Pakistan simply got what they did.

To all the Pakistani cricket lovers out there! ItÂ’s over now...lets enjoy the fun and celebrate with Indian fellows....and i am doing it thoroughly by taking treats from my Indian friends
I was shocked to watch Paki drop 7 cathes of which some were from Sachins bat - we all know you drop a guy like him and they go on to the next century.

It is truly going to be a great weekend and final for both teams - somewhat entertaining for the rest of the world who has normal weekends off to watch :sosad:
malisohail : Gone are the days, Indian team heavily depends on SACHIN; this was there in 90s and early parts of 2000s, people used to switch off the TVs when Sachin was out, but not today. The self beleif some of the youngsters and the coinfidence and determination they brings in, the dependency on SACHIN has decreased considerably. However it doenst take away the importance SACHIN plays in the Indian team. Class player is a class player.

slyshooter: At the end of the day, result matters. Having said that I must truly appreciate the progress made by PAK team in this WC considering the kind of controversies they had went thru, loosing key payers etc, but they have to blame themselves for the lose, nobody else. As a true cricket fan, I can only hope and trust PAK need to and will come out in flying colors and only can move forward in their journey. With the diminishing of WI, and now AUS as strong teams, future is with IND, SL and PAK cricket teams and they have a chance to grab always and its depends on how they capitialize on the chances and opportuntities given instead of self-destructing thmselves. :)
uvnpsaradhi: Leave that aside, just tell us Are you up for the treat ? :p :)

We are with you to celebrate.

Wait... Wait... until final, we will have one final treat. No celebration is final without the final is done. :)

But we need it now, coz u won't win the final and we will not get the chance again

I am so sad and green now...:sosad:

We all know Pak team and the captain (Afridi) did a great job to elevate the team out of absolute darkness but watching the semi final was like history repeating itself, that was a bunch of dreadful technical mistakes in a pressure cooker of a stadium (Mohali)Having said that, the Indian team did a brilliant job. I think we have now what is called the clash of the titans, the two best teams in the final clash today! Good luck!
No Jayawardene ton had ended in defeat. No World Cup final ton had ended in defeat. No home team had won the WC on their home turff Until today. All history records broken and INDIA WON THE WORLD CUP and ARE THE WORLD CHAMPIONS OF ICC CRICKET WORLD CUP;  against all odds, with no contribution from Sachin, the Young Bregrade has done it. Picture perfect send off to SACHIN on his last world Cup Match.
