i am new in the kingdom and want to get medical insurance.

please guide me from which insurance company in riyadh shall i purchase health insurance.

Hi,

Your sponsor is the one who is responsibility to provide you with the health insurance, it's a mandatory for your employer, however, you can still buy your own insurance by聽 visiting any office of the heath care provider (try online too), the best one is Puba Arabia, Tawnya, Mid Gulf....etc.

Just make sure you have an Iqama first.聽 Without one, no company will entertain you for one.

Also, as already said, your sponsor should provide it.聽 As depending on your age and health plus coverage required, it can turn out to be expensive.

thank u for the assistance.

my sponsor is my husband and his medical is covered by his company but they are not providing me with 1. so i just need to get it for myself.

any guidance related to that please.

There are many companies, google their numbers and call them e.g. BUPA Arabia, Tawuniya, Medgulf, Gulf union etc.

But maybe, it is easier to ask your husband to speak to your employer to add you to the same policy and you pick up the cost for that.聽 Better benefits and cheaper cost.
