Need help with degree attestation issue!

Hello

I have a job offer from Saudi but unable to attest my degree certificates as the university is not in Saudi approved universities list. I was surprised because this is one of reputed universities in my country.聽 I need help with below

1.聽 Is attestation mandatory for work / professional visa?
2.聽 Do we have any visa types that would NOT need attestation?
3. A couple of my friends who joined the same company an year back moved on labor visa and then got their visa changed to professional without an attestation process. Is this an option?

Hello,

Below are few points to help you:

1- Degree attestation is mandatory for white collar profession visas;
2- if your study was full time class room based and not distance learning then your degree atteststion shouldn鈥檛 be a problem. HRD and university need to confirm if your course was full time and class room based and it should be fine.

3- yes, you can still get labour visa without having to provide any degree. Profession can later be changed when you reach Saudi. (Without attested degree)

So if I take option 3, will I be able to move my family also after changing from labor to professional visa?

That will be very difficult actually because when you apply for family residence authorisation (also known as yellow slip) they will ask for an attested degree.
