Meet up for ex pats this week

Hey guys

I thought i would start a new thread soley to arrange meeting up for ex pats, especially those who have just arrived and are feeling a bit lost (hmmmm....thats me then!).

As i assume everyone lives all over the place can people suggest where they think is a cental point - i was thinking taksim or kadikoy?? I was also thinking depending on peoples jobs, to meet earlu evening for drinks and then those who want to stay late can do etc.

Let me know what you think and any suggestions and those that want to go for definitely can PM me telefone numbers or email addresses etc.

Its hard to find friends who speak English in Istanbul.... most of Turkeys cant speak English !

you can talk to me anytime about anything ok and don't worry , i am having trouble learning fluent Turkish! Thou i know lots of words and can understand some confersations by Turkish people hahahaa

I moved to Istanbul a few weeks ago and have just found this forum. Looks like I'm a bit late for this meet-up, but if there are any more soon then please let me know. Would be great to get to meet some more expats (who I don't work with!)

Hey,
I am a Turkish girl who lives in Istanbul.
I am planning to have IELTS exam after 3 weeks.That's why i was trying to find friends to talk in English.After i found this site.
