Free Guide for Everything

Hello,

I'm a native architect at 30 in Istanbul. I've been here in only 2 years but I've already visited almost every part of the city due to my job. I'm an artlover who is drawing hyperrealistic portraits and 3D (Max/Maya) projects for hobbies. I also love photography and tango... And for the last, I'm a cinephile who has more than 7 thousand Bluray movies in his archive...

So please do not hesitate to contact with me if you need an advice or suggestion for a place or thing about what I mentioned. Historical places, museums, art galleries, concerts, unique places to visit, tango-milonga dance clubs, drawing lessons etc. You can also ask for the destinations, photography tours and such activities... I'd like to help as much as I can

Hi deucalion!

Maybe you could share some interesting sites already on the forum?

Thanks
Armand
Do you know where there is a good used furniture market on the European side?
Hello snow_flake

well that'd be better if you remark a specific place but one of the most famous market on used or spot furniture is Eskidji in Yeni Bosna :eskidjibazaar.com/index.php
And you can also find similar markets close to here
Thank you for the suggestion. Can you give me an idea of how much it would cost to fully furnish a 2 bedroom flat with salon?

Thanks again!
Very interesting question :)

Exactly :)

Well, as an architect it wouldn't be enough 10.000TL for me to full-design a house even with all-used furnitures :)

But, if you assume to buy the primal furnitures:
a new double bed (not used) with base and the head piece is about 350-500TL (depends on leather or fabric)
A wardrobe 120-350TL(depends on the height and the cabin numbers)
Sofa Set (Begins from 400TL and goes on)
Carpets (so various... can't say anything)
Dining table begins from 120TL  (with/without chairs)

If you were looking also from Asian side, I could advice you Sultanbeyli, Modoko or Uskudar for some cheaper (but transportation is really costy for some of them)

Very kind of you. Good luck :)
But since July of this year prices got higher...
