Oooh, I had a list of these I was supposed to check out. There is a popular one in Taksim. If I find it I will share. Don't know about Ankara, sorry. BUT I seem to remember that I got the list from an issue of Time Out Istanbul. If you search their website or old issues (June I think) you can probably find the article.

There are a number of secondhand shops in Kadikoy. Also try at Cihangir in Beyoglu and Kucukyali in Kadikoy.
