Going to Turkey

Hi everybody

I just received a proposal to move to Turkey, Istanbul exactly, but still wondering about costs of life, the salaries needed to live, being single.. any one of you has this experience, please help and let me know the maximum about, cuz I actually have to take a decision within 2 weeks.

thanks guys for your posts,
actually they proposed a very bad salary I think, to start with 1400 lira, house and transport is provided by the company, the company and the house will be in the european site, they will also provide turkish courses and it is said in the offer letter that after 6 months, they can rise my salary if my job is ok

what do you think about it ?

As long as they provide the housing and the transportation there is no problem, may be you can not make money with that salary but you can have fun when going out. its enough

You can survive but It is better if you can provide the bussiness area or the positon that we can say if it is a propoer salary or lower than the other peoples earn....

It is in Taksim as they said, actually I am in sultanate of oman, salaries are better but life is difficult, people are completely different from what I saw, personnaly, I am scared to be in聽 a same situation in turkey.
