Lung Scars
I have query regarding the Lung Scars.
My brother, in India has got job offer from Dubai. But unfortunately He was having TB history.
After taking medication for 3 months doctors are telling that he is FIT now. He don't have active Tb.
But the Xray is still showing SCAR in lungs. He has got LIfetime opportulity with quite good salary.
But I am afraid that he will lose the chance due to lung SCAR.
So I want the advice from you that whether he should come to UAE and give medical test.
What are the chances that He will get pass, as he don't have Active TB?
If he is Deported wheteher he will be blacklisted ? and what r the disadvantages of that?
Please Respond.
I just want to share my awful experience in Dubai. I came in Dubai this April 2015 under Tourist's Visa. I got hired by a shipping company this June 2015. To cut the story short. When I have to go to my medical exam, my blood exam went well BUT on my X-Ray the Radiologist(Xray Guy) told me to come back tomorrow. I dont have any idea why. I was tested for sputum samples in 3 consecutive days when I got back. After that they called the PRO of my company that we have to go there again. Without informing me I was suprised that I have to be admitted at Muhaisnah Fitness Centre. They didnt discuss much regarding with my case. I stayed there for 2weeks with continous medication. 10tablets per day on an empty stomach. All that they told me that I have a TB and the level of bacteria is +1. I was discharged after 2weeks(minimum no. of days when you will be admitted at Sonapur). I did the iris scan and all. The MFC didnt give any documents or results to me about my exams. All they gave me is a discharge card with what medicines and illness that I have. So how will I know what's really wrong with me? Most of them are avoiding long conversations. I dont know if they are scared of getting infected or only the doctors know our case. After I was released, I am glad that my company allowed me to stay in UAE for 12 more days before I am going to be deported. It is聽 sad to inform you guys that for the new comers in UAE, it will be a big risk trying to work there if you have lung scars. It may cause you to be banned for your entire life in UAE. I dont have any health issues and I've never been admitted on a hospital. This experience was the first time and I wont forget that. Their federal law regarding with TB Patients is too inhumane and cruel. So now, I am here at my home country trying to rebuild my dreams and hoping to work on other countries. Definitely not GCC Countries. If they don't want us to work for them, so be it. There are much more humane countries that we will not be discriminated. Let's keep our hopes high and dont get tired of pursuing our dreams! Giving up your dreams means giving up your life.

I came to Dubai though a company, after joining I was sent for Medical examinations, where they did my x ray and blood test, after 1 day my company PRO got an email that I need to come back for more tests (at this stage I was still clueless what was happening). I went to the medical centre they took my blood again and then sent me for a 3 day sputum test, I was called for 3 continuous days for sputum test after that I was given one more day break and was called to see the doctor, where she asked me if I had TB or any lung disease in the past or present as they had found a scar in my lung but all the other tests reports like blood and sputum was normal. I advised the doctor I am aware about the scar which has been in my lung but only discovered it when I was 13 years old. Then the doctor sent me to see the specialist or the main doctor where he asked me the if I had TB or bronchitis in the past or present, also if had been on medications for more than 3 months and apparently all my answers were negative. They advised me to send my company PRO to collect my report after 2 days. And believe me during this stage I was reading these forums about deportation if you a scar in the lung and it scared the hell out of me, but apparently my reports were all normal. They gave me a Fit to stay.
So guys relax as long as you don鈥檛 have TB or HIV you don鈥檛 need to worry.
Thanks
@Dudeski I would just like to ask how was your application in Dubai? How long have you been working in Dubai? By the way thank you for your very positive response to people in this forum.
but i really want to take a risk just like your storyWhat clinic gave you a fit to work medical clearance if i may ask. I plan to get a second opinion too.
If you have a fit to word clearance, i suggest you go to kuwait. God will make a way when there seems to be no way...
I had my first medical here in davao physician...den i took my 2nd xray at medisense davao for a 2nd opinion and my xray was very normal...so they gave me fit to work on my visa..this november will be my flyt to kuwait...i always do a research regarding this problem, thats why im very anxious if i will pursue my journey...what was the result of ur xray?tnx
Did you do the normal thing in taking ur chest xray?like deep inhalation and exhalation? Thanks for ur respond
My first medical sa jose reyes med is normal kado nung pinadala sa LMRA bahrain they rejected it kc hindi daw accredited ng lmra ung jose medical ( eh di ba since lumabas decision ng supreme court na alisin na ang gamca we are allowed to get our medical exam kahit saang clinic basta accredited ng DOH kaso despite this ruling rejected pa rin ung med ko) anyway i went to angellus med clinic for my 2nd med at dun na unfit ako...hayyy ang gulo
