Expat get together

Hey guys

I recently came up with the idea to organise a get-together for expats and locals who want to have a chance to meet people from different cultures and backgrounds! The easiest way to do so is a meeting place in a public area, a place where life takes part, for exemple the JBR. Should it be successful I defenitifely will continue it on regular basis, but maybe different places...

It would be nice if it would work! I just try:

Date: Saturday, 10th of november 2012
Time: 14:00
Location: JBR beach
dress code: Yellow T-Shirt or similar
take with: your open mind and good mood, maybe something to drink or eat

I am not sure if somebody will join... I am working on shifts and we usually don't have off duty together...

maybe i should set up a date and time very advanced in order to succeed. I am sure the wish and desire is here from many people and I am sure as well, once it succeed we can start doing it on regular basis.... in spain and new zealand it has been working well, so why should it not work here?!

Hi Darry,

It is a great idea & it will work as all people living here in Dubai are outgoing & openminded u just need to set a meeting (with full details) well in advance & notify all the contacts seems interested & they will confirm yes or no
