Why is it sooo hard to find women for dating online in dubai ?

Isnt it the same case with most guys around here and dating forums and websites.

As a single guy I too have been on a hunt to find a nice woman for friendship or casual dating and romance, and it seems most of the profiles online or in forums are one way connections..often emails are sent and there is no response..

What is it that doesnt impress the women posting these personal ads online? or may be the real ones dont exist and its just a gimick of auto populating the databases with fictitious members?

I dont think my sense of humour is bad, I wrote some catch lines, I presented the conversation well, gift wrapped it in nice words and colorful tones...but still no reply?? come on guys lemme know your experiences.

What turns the women on to reply? or just like the networking sites all are out there only to add hundreds of friend requests, but actually have no time and interest in connnecting in real.

Here another obesrvation I've seen about networking sites when it comes to contacting women..

The women will keep adding and adding and have hundreds of friends in the list, but when you contact them, INSPITE of getting added in their list..its weeks and theres no reply..

Is it happening with other guys too ??

I received a lot of messages from this site and I didn't even dare to reply to those men whose interest is pretty obvious different from the real purpose of this site.

dxbhotmale, your user name itself is a big turn off! Who will reply to you? What do you think is the purpose of the people who joined this site? You have to think of it and must divert yourself into another site if your objective is to "find a nice woman for friendship or casual dating and romance."

and they are profiles too with links..add as friend and send message ...if all thats not to connect to people..what's that?LOL

My brother the women who have responded to you have a point though. I think there are two things i think you can at least improve upon if you want any woman contacting you. 1) like the women suggested change the username, you have to realize that its the first thing they will look at and judge you by it till the end. 2) put up a picture it lets the ladies know that your a real person and they might be susceptible to contacting you back.

Just my thought on it but i do understand your point though i have had the same problem but you cannot blame them entirely, i mean they get a billion messages a day, you think they have time to actually email all of them or meet all of them? You getting what i am saying? I personally have had difficulty just making friends on this site i don't know how but it is what it is but i keep on trying.

women always feel insecure in contacting unknown men especially in this part of the world where people's ultimate motive is different frm their outlook.

Friendship is Moto of Expat-blog and offcourse meetups are provided if both peoples are ok with tht opinion.......It doesnt mean a date or something....its way far than tht......Pls be sure wht you are in, particularly in dubai mate....

> as everyone says your profile name, everyone wants to meets some real persons still you are hiding your identity who will trust you? come out of the mask and be a man, the girl should feel herself comfortable being with you.

There are more men then women in UAE.

The ratio is 3.5 men to 1 woman

On top of that, women are very protective in meeting online strangers to meeting them in person.

UAE though liberalized, be reminded that it is still an islamic country and if things go out of control, the police have no problem to lock up anybody.

No PDA
No alcohol in public

If you really want to meet ladies, go to ladies night and if you can dance very well, then I bet its the ladies will introduce themselves to you.

hmmm.. just to add my two cents to this, look if you really want to look for women, listen to the women's advice on here, go to the places, and if you are who you say you are i am sure you won't have a problem finding women. On this side of the world, you can find all types i am sure you will be fine. Good luck.

The UAE is a dictaorship, albeit a benevolent dictatorship. In other words, a police state.

In this country, if a woman makes an accusation of rape against an Emirati, the woman gets arrested while the man goes free pending the enquiry. Not a single Emirati has ever been convicted of the crime or rape.

again , for me , i will never respond to a man calling himself DXBHOTMALE !! dubai ,hot and Male !!that is totally bad promotion .
just change it and if i were you , i wont do online dating , you can get to know women in so many places here so why go online unless ..!!!

Sandman's comment about women getting arrested if they complaint about rape whilst the Emirati is let off is way off target - the law takes its course and the accused gets what he or she desrves.

Secondly i can't believe how desperate you are for females.
Lastly if you want woman shut down the laptop and go out to the real world to socialise.
