personal experience with purchasing hearing aids in Mexico?

I've been urged by family and friends to get hearing aids. I'm in the US now, and have been to an audiologist and diagnosed with moderate to severe loss of hearing. I'm all in on this and would like advice - should I purchase here or wait until I return to Mexico in a couple of weeks? Any experiences with comparing prices? - are they actually lower in Mexico? Another concern is follow up service as it surely will become necessary in Mexico. I have explored brands at Costco but not inside Mexico.

My husband and I live in a rancho near San Francisco Del Rincon, about an hour from Le贸n.

I'd appreciate any information and advice.
